Remembering 9/11, from the front page

Today marks the 19th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. In 2001, the front page of the newspaper remained one of the boldest statements in news. 

10 years later, the way we got news started to shift from television and newspapers to the Internet. 

In 2020, the coverage of major news events like the coronavirus is fragmented across social media feeds. There is no one place to make a bold statement, but front pages remain powerful snapshots of our most important moments.
